Rental Agreement & Information
A rental agreement is entered into upon booking via our website. Booking assumes you have read and accepted our Rental Terms and Cabin Rules. After payment, we will send practical info including maps, directions, key info, Jacuzzi instructions, and a check-out checklist.
About the Cabin:
The cabin maintains a high standard (150 sqm) and is fully equipped. It features two bathrooms (one on each floor), an indoor whirlpool tub, and a year-round heated outdoor Jacuzzi.
- Sleeps 13: 5 bedrooms + 1 sofa bed.
- Features: Cozy fireplace, 3-4 parking spaces, fire pit, and a massive outdoor dining table.
- Location: 10m from cross-country trails, 2 mins from Kikut/Vestlia Alpine Resort, and 5-10 mins by car to Geilo center.
CHECK-IN: 17:00 (5 PM) | CHECK-OUT: 12:00 (12 PM) Minimum stay: 3 nights (or a full weekend).
GENERAL RENTAL TERMS
1. General: These terms apply to all agreements with BLEN Eiendom AS. The contract is legally binding once the booking is confirmed and terms are accepted.
2. Booking & Payment: After booking, you will receive an invoice. Once paid, you will receive a “Welcome Letter” with all practical details.
3. Rental Amount includes: Water, electricity, Wi-Fi, and Jacuzzi use. Does NOT include: Mandatory professional cleaning (NOK 3,170), bed linen, or towels (unless ordered separately).
4. Cancellations: Must be in writing.
- Minimum 90 days notice.
- If canceled after the 90-day deadline, the amount is only refunded if the cabin is re-rented (minus a NOK 1,000 admin fee).
5. Tenant Responsibility:
- Minimum age: 24 years (exceptions for families/companies by written agreement).
- Strictly NO SMOKING and NO PETS. Violation results in a cleaning fee starting at NOK 8,500.
- Cleaning: While professional cleaning is mandatory, the tenant must still do the “rough cleaning” (dishes, emptying the fridge, taking out trash/bottles to the Kikut recycling station). Failure to do so results in a NOK 2,500 fee.
- Noise: Quiet hours are between 23:00 and 08:00.
6. Force Majeure: The owner may cancel the agreement in cases of war, natural disasters, pandemics, or major energy failures.
